The above is a false premise. No party has a monopoly on foreign policy failures or successes -- of course, both have a mixed record, especially if one looks long term (say, 100 years). But if one narrows down to say, last two presidents, the contrast comes into more focus. The gig from the video -- with the ex-Sec State Maddy Albright cozying up to Kim Jong Il, and ignoring the jihad started by Bin Laden & Co against the US -- is quite revealing, I think. The US administration has been mopping up after the monumental foreign-policy failures of the 90's (Mogadishu, Khobar, blown up embassies, Cole, NK nukes, etc) ever since. Not a pretty job, but that's what we've been reaping after the systematic neglect of that period, brought about by the very pinko-lefty ideology that says Kapitalist Amerikkka is the root of all evil, thus we cannot and should not fight the baddies out there, just suck up to them.

can we afford a party that has a proven track record of systematic foreign policy failure instead?
