Eurabia code

French President Charles de Gaulle, disappointed by the loss of the French colonies in Africa and the Middle East as well as with France's waning influence in the international arena, decided in the 1960's to create a strategic alliance with the Arab and Muslim world to compete with the dominance of the United States and the Soviet Union. [..] Thus, the Eurabian project became an enlarged vision of the anti-American Gaullist policy dependent upon the formation of a Euro-Arab entity hostile to American influence.

It figures. It all started with Elysée Palace. How long till it gets back to Versailles?

I thought you were a big de Gaulle fan, AI. Looks like I was right again when I condemned the scumbag for trying to gut NATO.

JJ: Yes, I was a big fan of de Gaulle, and I still have quite a bit of respect for the man. But the more I learn about what really happened, the more I have doubts. Also, by the way -- he, and his heir Pompidou groomed Chirac. That says something, doesn't it?

Better not to visit the sins of the grandson on the grandfather, but those B-52s taking off were worse than the Hueys doing the same.
Un mort, the Canard Enchainee reported.

What are you taking about, JJ? Maybe 1965, when de Gaulle pulled France out of the military NATO alliance? Oh well, big effing difference it made in the Cold War. It was a nuisance, and a propaganda victory for the Soviets, of course, but hey, one needs to learn to live with the French pulling stunts like that, non?
