Help around the corner

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice held talks here today with the Iraqi prime minister, Nuri Kamal al-Maliki, to offer support for efforts to bring stability to the country.
She and her amdinistration have done such a great job so far, one can only imagine how anxious al-Maliki must be for more of the same.

Choose a side and stick to it, Pepe. Do you think the US should help poor little Maliki out or take off and let the 'youths' put his head up on a pike?

JJ, JJ -- you are asking for moral clarity here. You know that's a tall order!

from day 1, I've always said take off, jj. The us is unable to help al-maliki or any of his clones.

Maliki is supposed to be a puppet, or that is what you would have us believe. Therefore he is by definition 'helped' in that he is as one would say in a baseball situation,'bought'.

Maliki is supposed to be a puppet
you mean he isn't ? do you mean that if he falls out of favor with the administration, he has a prayer at remaining in power ?
