GOP senators talkin' sense

Nothing like being the opposition to turn these clowns into sensible beings.

By accident, Pepe makes half a valid point (even a broken clock, etc). Yes, McCain had his chance back in September and October to articulate a different vision of how we should react to this mother of all economic crises. Instead, he dillied and dallied, and hemmed and hawed, and generally speaking, was tongue tied and caught on the wrong foot (surprise, surprise -- I said way back when that he was piss-poor at economics, to which Mr Rot replied, Don't worry, be happy, have some more ouzo; but I'm digressing).

At any rate, yes, it's pitiful how there is no one left to articulate something different from Socialism (and even there, a form closer to Hugo Chavez' than the standard Euro thing). To count on a washed-out McCain is rather pathetic. But still, glad to see that the old man still has some oomph left. Too little, too late, though.

Tecs really on fire! So he decides to stay home on election day since McCain would be no better than Obama in this economic mess and now he whines and cries that McCain would really be better than Saul Alinsky's scion.

Duh. Go back to your Chris Buckley!
