...and it's a good thing. Priceless comments though, if you need some freshening on your semitophobia.

A measure of relief. This Chas guy is a fokken embarassment. He's got a well-deserved spot under the bus. Seethe, Pepe, seethe.
Finally a foreign policy idiot is gone. Now Geithner, Hillary, Panetta,... lots more have to go from Carter II.
oooh, Sam Power...
Somewhat on topic: Britain’s most senior civil servant claimed it was hard to find anyone to speak to at the US Treasury. Sir Gus O’Donnell, cabinet secretary, blamed the “absolute madness” of the US system where a new administration had to hire new officials from scratch, leaving a decision-making vacuum. “There is nobody there. You cannot believe how difficult it is”. You don't say.
But is it really "the US system"? OK, maybe that's 10% of the explanation. But, going back to the Jimmah/Ronnie transition, I cannot recall a single instance where things have been as disorganized as with this transition.
Maybe "transition" is the wrong word. I propose "leadership vacuum". Or my usual favorite "clusterfuck".
