Wonderful bilge. Never have trouble getting tenure in a dept like that.

BTW, I am reviewing AT Tan's new Calc book for the publisher. Apparently the old cretin learned Stokes' theorem finally and is going after Stewart.

The fucking book is larded with "Applications" from Global Warming, city expenditures on drug abuse programs and their effect on ccrime rates, ...m in addition to the usual wrong stuff from Physics.

It should go over big at UCSC if they're thinking of dropping the Anarchist's Cookbook as their Calc I-III text.

I thought the red Porsche guy stuck to how-to-add-fractions books. He's moved on to derivatives? Wow. Is this Calculus for Women's Studies?
