India Descends into Civil War

Notice the editorializing last bit of the story: In October 2001, violence in protest at the US attacks on Afghanistan left a total of 12 people dead in the town. I.e. this is Bush's fault. The UK taxpayer buys this crap.

I heard Harvard is constructing some new type of building that will departmentalize Human Consciousness. The word on the street is that understanding the human psyche will eventually lead to preventing war and death. Yes JJ: this will only be possible if we get rid of Bush and elect Kerry and Gore. Why can't you understand this?

Harvard just had a civil war. Thay should have their faculty starchamber, er, senate meetings there.

Thay? Maybe you're thinking of Thai food? But, JJ, good catch with the poison pill at the end of the Beeb report. I guess they couldn't resist sticking in the dagger with that "attacks on Afghanistan" line.

BTW, was the Battle of the Bulge the prelude for an Anglo-American attack on Germany?
