Interesting but this news item is months old. I remember the deep thinkers saying the Israel-Iran war over the nukes wouldn't wait till much past Spring.
You are remembering things that happened before you went into you Summer-long slumber. A few things happened in the meantime -- eg, some little war in Lebanon, you up on it? -- that have altered somewhat the equation.
It didn't push it back -- it just started it, earlier than anticipated, and in another venue (via a surrogate). Methinks this was just a warm-up for the real thing. And I had two cups of coffee already today.
Well I'm on my third cup of coffee, and hoping (while realizing the futility of it) that Lebanon might rally in the cause to strike at Syria.
I mentioned this before in some post I'm too lazy to trace, but wasn't Syria behind the assassination of Lebanon's former (and very popular) Prime Minister not too long ago? Was Syria's participation in the huge bomb that went off in Beirut ever confirmed or negated?

So the little war in Lebanon pushed the Israel-Iran war back? You had your Kofi yet this morning?
