Memory recalls the general themes of the history of carriers: namely how upset the champion of battleships and dreadnoughts was when he witnessed a little plane do some repeated practice bombing on a ship, and eventually sink it. This all went down early in the 20th century, though names escape me as do specifics (naval history doesn't seem all that pertinent when in the middle of North America).

this is a problem easily fixed with a torpedo though. the houston airport is a tougher one.
