Mountain Time

I will be in Montana from tomorrow till Tuesday. Given that the mullahs of Billings have yet to issue a fatwa on the use of computers, likely there will be rather thin blogging from me during that time. I do however intend to take a camera with me and make up for the inexplicable fact that Montana has not been photographed much (or so it seems, searching the Net).

If wireless is lacking up there, you may try smoke signals. So how does one go to Montana? By stagecoach?

AI, I took an Overland Trail from Dakota Territory to the Montaigne to meet up with AA and JJ. Beautiful topography. Very green with a nice little town nestled in the mountain valley (see JJs pics upon his return).

However, the yuppies are coming... I think it'll eventually turn into a New Aspen. Eventually Alaska will be the last American refuge.

JJ has fled the Montana Militia for the safe confines of Chomskiana. Has anybody seen evidence of his being there, yet?

There has been a faint (yet definite) signal that JJ has descended from the Montanan peaks, back to the Chomskyan lowlands. But the cultur shock may have been too much, even for such a hardy soul, and so an appropriate amount of IPA is probably needed for decompression.

AI: I'm gonna convert my entire thesis into backwoods southern drawl.

As for JJ goes: he was starting to take to this about the time I departed last Saturday.

Mirror Pond was delicious. AA and I drank approximately a case of the stuff over the week. Thanks MFT for showing us that brew.

Yes, I am back on JHBH's Demon DPA. Last night it was the cause of many problems.
