this, Manhattan, Montana's contribution to poetry. I must say that it took a fair amount of courage on his (or AA's?) part to take a camera into the men's room of a beerjoint in Montana, but this is Ansel Adams-level stuff here, well worth risking life and limb.

I'm all for research and the like, but I didn't want to imfringe on AA's find. I also feared a Montana punch in the mouth and/or throat was too much to risk for a discovery made by AA. I figured since he found it, he should get the privilege of photographing it. Eureka. Nice work AA. Stiff upper lip.
Thank you for clearing up this fact, MFT. It would have been too easy at this point to claim credit for yourself and leave AA searching for his first major pub. Best.
