Qui a peur de l'islame?

Lots of Eurolitists, yes, but also lots of Ordinary Blokes. Because fear is a rational indice of the nature of Islam Militant.

Find an intelligent ouzo-free man without such fear, then you have found one who is calculating his profit from the triumph of Islam.

So what may we surmise from the current calculational din reverberating through the capitals of Old Europe?

Fortuyn—while finding a receptive audience among ordinary Dutchmen—was demonized by the Dutch elite. Though he was a liberal, committed to freedom and sexual equality, politicians and journalists labeled him a fascist. This systematic misrepresentation led directly to his murder on May 6, 2002, by a Green Party activist whose account of his motives read like a précis of the establishment line on Fortuyn.

Unfortunately it appears as though something big and bad will have to happen to us ("us" meaning North America, Great Britain, Europe, Russia, the Far East) for the world to again awaken.

After 9/11 the only question left is, How bad is bad enough?

Yeah, I discussed a similar topic in a Mediterranean history seminar today. It was suggested that Spain remained the gateway to Europe (at least as far as a link to North Africa), and I think the first post-9/11 bombing was Madrid. As history played out, it merely scared the Spaniards into voting submission.

Well, it worked on the Day of the Ditches in Toledo, so they figured , heck, why not go with what works?
