Creeping up to Versailles

Antwerp is pretty far away, but they're fretting there. No Pepean sense of serene detachment, just a brooding sense of foreboding. Wonder why.

Mr. Gonman is hardly an extremist. In fact, he organized a protest last week in which 20 bars and restaurants closed on the night when a far-right party with an anti-Muslim message held a rally nearby.

He's one of those guys the NYT just loves. He is just afraid this little terrorism thing will excite the extremist elements in our own society.

You know, AI: Gun-nuts, evangelicals, anti-abortion types and other racists.
