Same here. I am ashamed I thought the worst of that beautiful woman, but in my defense, after so many disappointments, it's hard to believe any decency can come from that profession.

Prejudice is bad, duh.

I'm not quite as sanguine as you. I'll take her latest statement at face value, OK, but, looking back at the whole story, things still don't smell quite right. So, hold on on that ash and sackloth, and let's see a bit more how the story develops before drawing firm conclusions, I'd say.
