Frog & Rosbif

Let try this pub one of these days. I think I'll go with the Rosbif Revenge.

I am not ready to forgive the revolting French. I will stick to real English pubs that make no moral equivalence "Rosbitf=Frog" where there can be none. In Soho I have had plenty good times with Royal Air Force guys I am quite sure can't be approximated with prickly little Villepins talking about Mirages and simplism.

Blogger is having a tough time uploading photos right now (why it's high time to move this blog off Blogger) but look in here later and if they get their act together I will send you a picture of a pub with an unequivocal name and unequivocal beer.

The RAF boys had colorful terms for the antiwar protesters, btw.

The only French beer I ever tasted was Kronenbourg. It comes in aluminum cans, and it tastes just like a Bud or something. I wonder whether their microbreweries are any better?

That Frog and Rosbif is a brewbar, no? Amen to the Kronenbourg. Awful sweet headachy stuff. Out near Courm the French make beers not so sweet. They are OK.

Here is a Kronenbourg review. I'll stay with Harpoon.
